Norway - Ærlighet varer lengst

Høknes school in Norway is very pleased to be a part of the Schoolovision-project. Our song "Ærlighet varer lengst" (Eng: "Honesty is the best policy") is made by students in class 5, 6 and 7 at Høknes school (both the melody and the lyrics). In the process making this song we have got a lot of help from Rock City Namsos, a resource center for pop and rock. 180 students from 5th to 7th grade have taken part in this project. The song is about being honest, and about believes in oneself, and the song says it is important to follow your dreams. We hope you like the song and the video.

Brilliant!!!
I just love your music:) Such lovely pure voices! Very creative!
I think this is what children should be doing in free time: composing music, writing and singing songs!
Very professional, well done.
Best wishes,

This has blown me completely away, Jan. What an amazing entry!

Having watched this I am so proud of Schoolovision through which we have become able to share our creativity in such a splendid way.

Obviously, this is a brilliant and professionaly done entry. There are so many details to enjoy.

Personally, I enjoy most the light setup, the extraordinary video quality and details like the water or smoke in the background.
Very strong is also the scene in the school corridor where one girl steps aside and another takes over.

So far for the moments. Have to watch it again now.

I just recognized the similarity of your song title to the German version of this saying:
Ehrlich währt am längsten.
